Tuning body parts, accessories (double seat, exhaust, handlebar, headlight, wheels, electric starter) - Kawasaki KSR 110 PRO 2013

Kawasaki KSR 110 PRO is manufactured in Thailand and is in TOP 5 selling motorbikes here. It has huge fan base of regular people, it's use in special motorbike shows and it's even favorite motorbike of a lot of stunt men. Thanks to all of this there's a lot of accessories and tuning body parts at the market. And because is the one of top selling bikes, it's very easy to find shop with new parts for KSR 110 PRO. What is on the market? Literally everything. You can change seat, exhaust, handlebar, tyres and even plastic covers. Even if you're not a big fan of a tuning and changing body parts, you will end up buying at least pillion passenger foot pegs. Which are missing at the bike.

Pillion passenger foot pegs

Kawasaki KSR 110 PRO Pillionpassenger foot pegs

First of all, you'll have to buy a pillion passenger foot pegs. Kawasaki KSR 110 PRO was designed as a one person only. Thanks to this, there aren't pillion passenger foot pegs and even seat is shorter. Kawasaki KSR is very popular in Thailand, thanks to this it's very easy buy any accessories. You can visit any random motorbike shop and they will have foot pegs for KSR. Depending on material and design they costs between 400 Baht and 600 Baht. Attaching them to your motorbike should be included in the price. If you're living outside Thailand, you can order them at the internet for the same price. This body part is really essential if you want to ride KSR with passenger!

Double seat - Kawasaki KSR 110 PRO

Kawasaki KSR Double Seat

It was already mentioned, that Kawasaki KSR 110 Pro is designed as one person only. Because of this its seat is shorter than regular seat at any scooter. You can fit in 2 person (+ baby), but it will not be comfortable for long rides, 10 Km top. I personally never saw double seat for Kawasaki KSR in any shop. I visited a lot of shops with KSR body parts, but I was never able to find one, which would be selling double seats. But I saw a lot of pictures and it would definitely improve usability of this motorbike. Price is between 2 000 Baht and 2 500 Baht, depends mostly on quality of material. Thanks to rear design of KSR and since seat is removable, it's very easy to change standard seat for double seat.

Exhaust - Kawasaki KSR 110 PRO

Kawasaki KSR 110 Exhaust

Exhaust is the most modified part of KSR 110 PRO. Price usually starts at 1 500 Baht and can go as high as 10 000 Baht. Comparing it to the price of a bike (around 66 000 Baht) it's really expensive and you have to be big fan of modifying motorbikes to be considering this. Again, you can buy new exhaust at a lot of motorbike shops. You can even get custom design at tuning shops, which you'll find at big cities. Reason of modifying exhaust is new (different) look and sound. Since KSR's exhaust looks already good, new is relatively expensive and doesn't improve performance or usability, I wouldn't recommend buying new.

Handlebar - Kawasaki KSR 110 PRO

Kawasaki KSR 110 PRO handlebar

Theres a lot of different types of handlebars at the market, which are compatible with KSR 110 PRO. You don't have to look specifically for KSR 110 PRO accessories and body parts. Price of new handlebars usually starts at 2 000 Baht and goes to 5 000 Baht. Handlebars comes just like a piece of metal. Rest of the parts (grips etc.) you have to use from old handlebar. Or buy new. Very popular are aluminum handlebars, that comes in a lot of different shapes and colors. I recommend visiting any local motorbike shop for more informations. They usually offers changing old handlebars for a new for a small fee.

Headlight - Kawasaki KSR 110 PRO

Kawasaki KSR Front headlight

By headlight you can tell, if it's newest 2013 model or older from 2011/2009. Old headlight are rounded, looks sleepy and lazy. The new model from 2013 changed its design into a sharp shape. Now it looks more dangerously and predatory. At the picture on the left you can see new look from 2013. In a lot of shops are available not only spare parts, but also new tuning body parts which will make from your standard motorbike totally new unique piece. Standard headlight costs about 1 500 Baht and comes also with front plastic covers. Other shapes and types starts at 2 500 Baht and goes up to 6 000 Baht.

Wheels (tyres) - Kawasaki KSR 110 PRO

Kawasaki KSR 110 PRO rear tyre

Kawasaki KSR 110 PRO comes with standard road tyres. Which are about 4 times wider than scooter tyres. I saw modifications, where owners changed original wide tyres for narrow scooters tyres. I looked funny (ugly) and very impractically. In south Asia you'll ride all types of roads. In town, dirt roads, highways... . And original tyres seems to perform great at any surface. Even at slippery dirt roads after heavy raining. I wouldn't change them for narrow road tyres. Another extreme is to buy off-road tyres, which are also available at the market. Changing tyres is worth considering only if you're racer or stunt men. For all other purposes standard tyres will do good job.

Electric starter - Kawasaki KSR 110 PRO

Kawasaki KSR 110 PRO Electric starter

Some sources says, that Kawasaki KSR 110 PRO comes just with kick starter. Which is not true. Newest model from 2013 has electric starter and even model from 2009 has it. It's classic starter that you can see at other scooters in south Asia. New can be buy in any motorbike shop. Installation should be included in the price. I recommend taking motorbike with you to the shop and ask, if there's any technician available. Usually there should be and he should do it for free with right tools. And he will even do test ride to make sure, that everything is all right. Price should be about 1000 Baht. And of course you can also order it at the internet.
